About EnerG2

Founded in 2003 in Seattle, Washington, EnerG2 pursues commercial opportunities in energy storage created by nanotechnologies and nanomaterial processing techniques.  Working closely with the University of Washington’s Department of Materials Science & Engineering, EnerG2 has produced a suite of unique technologies directly applicable to some of today’s most important energy storage requirements.  EnerG2’s nanomaterials effectively shed the constraints imposed by naturally occurring storage materials while leveraging the significant commercial and technical advantages created by molecular self-assembly.

EnerG2 actively screens potential technologies for long-term commercial viability.  Our nanomaterial research consistently emphasizes the cost competitiveness of any resultant product.  The company recognizes that good science without good management cannot be sustained.  EnerG2’s products not only provide unique solutions to today’s most important problems – they are commercially attractive alternatives for cost- and performance-focused customers around the world.
